His name is Duane Cramer and for more than two decades his goal has
been to educate, entertain and uplift his audience through the brilliance of
his photography. With an emphasis on capturing the individual, Duane’s
shots are uncomplicated and intimate yet a powerful conveyance of the
beauty he sees in all his subjects.
His dramatic use of light and composition, and his mastery of black and
white photography, has earned him international praise as an
accomplished modern artist.
Duane calls San Francisco his home and when he is not working, he is an
active member of his community, giving service to such organizations as
Frameline, The Center in San Francisco, Afro Solo Theatre Arts Company,
Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt and the Black AIDS Institute.
