The White Attire Affair Saving Lives from HIV

The White Attire Affair is an annual social
event held in Washington, DC attracting
thousands of men and women from across the
country. Sponsored by the UMMAH
Endowment Fund, the event is a HIV/AIDS
social marketing awareness and fundraising
event focused on African-American
communities.
Lavish in presentation and entertainment,
nearly 100% of the attendees are black. In
addition, attendees wear white as a symbol of
unity in the mission to ending HIV/AIDS.
